Greenline omranding waterpartij stadspark

Het gesaneerde Van Gend & Loos-terrein in Tilburg met een leeg open grasveld, verlaten spoorlijn en steile geluidswal heeft dankzij een burgerinitiatief in 2019 een complete metamorfose ondergaan. Het tot Spoorpark omgedoopte stadspark van bijna tien hectare werd in 2019 voltooid. Met fantastische voorzieningen voor recreatie, sport en cultuur. Het was aan de ontwerpers om de wensen en ideeën te vertalen in een heus doe-park.
Schoon en stromend water verbindt de verschillende gedeeltes van het Spoorpark, afgekaderd door Greenline-zitelementen. Aangesloten op het watersysteem van de stad fungeren de waterpartijen als binnenstedelijke waterberging in natte periodes en verkoelingsplek tijdens warme zomerdagen. De waterzuivering met helofyten- en UV filters reinigt het regenwater. Toegankelijk voor kinderen van alle leeftijden, hun ouders en grootouders.
