Cycle for concrete in Braamt
Over dit project
Cycle for Concrete (C4C) is het hoogst haalbare in circulariteit van betonnen bestratingsproducten. Met C4C worden deze aan het einde van hun levensduur ingezameld, gebroken en gezeefd gebruikt in nieuw te produceren producten. De fracties die niet geschikt zijn voor betonbestrating worden door CRH-zusterbedrijven verwerkt in constructieve betonproducten. Zo garandeert Struyk Verwo Infra als enige fabrikant 100% hoogwaardig hergebruik van het in het werk vrijgekomen betonpuin. Hiermee wordt een aanzienlijke besparing bereikt op het gebruik van zand, en grind.
De in een project vrijkomende bestaande materialen zijn van de opdrachtgever. Via duidelijke richtlijnen kan een opdrachtgever in de aanbestedingsprocedure aangeven wat er met uit het project vrijkomende bestaande verharding moet gebeuren. Een opdrachtgever die kiest voor C4C maakt de ambitie naar volledige circulariteit waar.
C4C is gecertificeerd door NL Greenlabel met status A.
