CirCOton producten bevatten gegarandeerd minimaal gerecycled materiaal. Met CirCOton krijgen opdrachtgevers ook de zekerheid dat de MKI van het product onder het voor de betreffende productgroep geldende MKI-plafondbedrag ligt. De MKI-plafondbedragen (geldend voor levensfasen A t/m D) worden door het Betonakkoord en BouwCirculair vastgesteld en periodiek aangescherpt. CirCoton is inmiddels onze duurzame standaard geworden: dat wil zeggen dat het merendeel van onze artikelen inmiddels aan de criteria voor CirCOton voldoet.
De milieuprestaties worden berekend en gecontroleerd op basis van de BRL K11002. Hierdoor kunnen de opdrachtgever en de aannemer zich ervan verzekeren dat de milieuprestaties bij inschrijving gelijk zijn aan de milieuprestaties bij levering. De opdrachtgever wordt zodoende helemaal ontzorgd en hoeft geen kosten te maken voor verificatie.
CirCOton is gecertificeerd door NL Greenlabel, met status A.
