Kleurrijke & groene bestrating Talentencampus
Over dit project
Carve ontwierp de buitenruimte van De Talentencampus, een nieuw schooltype dat besloten, half-open en normaal dagonderwijs combineert. De drie scholen in het gebouw zijn niet strikt van elkaar gescheiden, zodat er een vloeiende overloop kan ontstaan, wat terugkomt in de bestrating.
De grootste uitdaging in het project was het oplossen van de parkeervraag en de waterinfiltratie. Het grote aantal benodigde parkeerplaatsen werd opgelost aan de randen van het plein, maar betekende ook dat er een groot verhard oppervlak zou ontstaan. Het ontharden hiervan leidde tot de ontwikkeling van de Greenbrick. In plaats van saaie grasbetontegels te gebruiken kon de kleurrijke bestrating doorgezet worden met prachtige plukken groen tussen de parkeervakken door.
